Cameroon: Samuel Eto'o at the bedside of vulnerable people

Samuel Eto'o

Samuel Eto'o spends a lot of money to help young people and others in difficulty in his country. A noble purpose that led him this Tuesday to the Far North region of Cameroon for a three-day visit. Samuel Eto'o began his journey with a meeting with young soldiers, engaged in the defense of the territory in this region plagued by terrorist attacks.

The president of the philanthropic foundation will then meet the vulnerable populations of the region. In particular, he plans to provide 1,500 young students, victims of terrorism, with school kits and supplies. The quadruple African Golden Ball will finally end his visit with a donation of equipment to clubs affiliated with the Regional Football League.

"Supporting African youth is one of the major thrusts of the Samuel Eto'o Foundation's policy. In Cameroon, the Foundation has invested in the sectors of education, health, human development and the environment," the Foundation recalls.

It should be noted that granivorous birds destroyed 130 hectares of off-season millet crops in Waza in the said Far North region. The local populations and authorities are calling for help from the State.
